With 20 years of experience as a Licensed Dental Assistant - and a parent of 3 - I am passionate about enhancing oral health education for children through engaging and informative presentations. My goal is to empower students with the knowledge they need to maintain healthy smiles and prevent dental issues. I believe that early education fosters lifelong habits and community wellness.

ToothTalks is reviving that nostalgic `90s program to bring this vital roadmap back to the classroom with a fun, charismatic twist and updated professional standards.

Meet Sparkles
Sparkles is 100% committed to two things: bright smiles and bad jokes. (What’s a dentist’s favorite dinosaur? A Flosso-raurus!) When they aren’t making the classroom laugh, Sparkles is a master at showing kids exactly how to reach those tricky back molars. Sparkles believes that a clean mouth and a big laugh go hand-in-hand.
What to Expect
Making oral health fun!
I believe dental education should be a highlight of the school day, not just another lecture. Here is how ToothTalks creates a memorable experience:
- A Professional, Friendly Greeting: I’ll introduce my trusty sidekick, Sparkles, who is ready to engage the students from the very first moment.
- Interactive Education: Through age-appropriate trivia and storytelling, we break the ice and make dental health feel approachable and fun.
- 3D Discovery Display: I use a vibrant, oversized tooth diorama featuring a "Chomp Wisely" game about food choices. This interactive display keeps students visually engaged and curious as they discover how their favorite snacks impact their smiles.
- Hands-On Demonstrations: No "death by PowerPoint" here. We use large-scale models and interactive tools so students can see—and practice—exactly how to brush and floss effectively.
- The Single-Class Advantage: By focusing on one class at a time, it ensures every student has the opportunity to ask questions, stay involved, and participate in the demonstrations.
- The "Smile Success Bag": Every student leaves with more than just a memory. They’ll take home a bag filled with the tools and knowledge they need to start their new healthy habits that very same night!...plus a goodie or two ;)
The Big Wheel Finale
Each class finishes with a 'Spin-to-Win' a toothpaste flavor,
which completes the Smile Success Kit
